There were so many frogs who
were travelling in the forest in search of
food. They travelled over a long distance without getting something to eat. As
they continued searching for something to eat, three of these frogs fell into a
deep pit, and thus couldn't get out of it. As the three frogs who fell into the
pit tried their best to get out by jumping, one of them fell and died.
Meanwhile, the rest who were outside kept on telling them to stop jumping
because, their existence on earth had come to an end. But the other two
continued to jump and another one fell and died. As the only one frog left in
the pit continued to jump, the frogs outside kept on shouting and signalling it
to stop. At last, it jumped so high that, it was able to get out.
The friends
asked the frog whether it didn't hear them telling it to stop? The frog answered,"i thought you were encouraging me to jump higher and get out." This
story is telling us that, a word of encouragement to someone who is down can
lift him/her up and also wishing someone who is down evil, can make him/her
perform extraordinarily. My fellow AMANFOO, the little support that we give to
the junior AMANFOO can enable them do what our predecessors like, Osaagyefo
Kuntunkununku, President Kuffour, Rt. Rev Aboagye Mensah, Prof. Akosah, Mr.
Kwabena Duffour, Mr. Baa Wiredu, and the rest did in the past which has brought
mother PREMPEH COLLEGE to where she is now. Long live Ghana, long live the KINGS
COLLEGE, Long live AMANFOO.
